Thank you for registering to Walk/Run Into April 2021! We are excited and thankful for your participation in this healthy initiative organized by Telfair Indo-American Cultural Association (TELICA) and Sewa!
In order to participate, you also need to sign this online waiver asap - https://sewausa.org/Covid-19-Volunteer-Disclaimer We will be doing some stretching / Yoga for the first 30 minutes and then start a 5k run/walk. Here are our guidelines for this event:
- Your registration is good for 1 person only, if additional family members want to join, each has to register individually (for accurate headcount as we have limited spots)
- Arrive no later than 8:15 AM at the venue

- Wear a Sewa t-shirt if you have one; if you don’t have, we will provide Sewa t-shirts to the first 10 participants checking in at the venue
- Wear masks at all times during the event
- Follow social distancing protocol - staying 6 feet away from any other person
- If you or anyone at your home is sick, do this virtually
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Walk or run at your own comfortable pace; you may stop anytime if you feel any uneasiness.
- Stay on your right side of the path throughout the course of the 5k trail, there may be a few other bikers and runners who will be passing from your left.
- Watch out for sprinkler water on the path, it may be slippery
- Use your own device/app to track your run/walk
Telfair residents, please bring your key fob for using the restroom facility in Telfair central.

Who we are?
TELICA, short for Telfair Indo-American Cultural Association, is a non-profit organization based out of Telfair, Sugar Land, TX. We aspire to make our community a better place to live and raise family by organizing multiple social events promoting awareness of ethnic Indian American culture and traditions. We encourage youths and adults for active volunteering and selfless community service.
